Dr. Lynne J Lightfoote, MD

Rude staff ! Am trying to schedule an appointment and the receptionist is extremely rude! They need to be well trained and know how to answer phone calls and reply in good manners!

Dr. Lightfoote is one of the most sensitive, compassionate doctors I have ever met. She listened to my questions prior to a recent surgery and made an extra effort to make sure my needs were addressed. I am grateful for her skill and care. She is truly a top-notch doctor and human being.

She was arrogant and did as little as possible. Did not listen to my heart or lungs, gave no information when I asked if I could be in peri-menopause, and said "I do not do that" when I asked about symptoms of fatigue. No information or follow-up on tests. Long wait time. Worst OBGYN ever. Near useless visit. And they cannot bill insurance properly even when you give them the information in advance. Find a different doctor

Dr. Lightfoote is one of the most knowledgable, caring and professional doctors I have met. She delivered both of my children and held my hand on many different occasions. She is very friendly and reassuring and goes above and beyond her doctor's duties. She came in after work (when she was not on call) to deliver one of my children because I really wanted her to deliver me. I can not say more positive things about this woman and will continue to refer her to everyone I know.

Dr. Lightfoote is the best OB/GYN I've ever had; period. (1) She really knows her stuff; (2) she's gone above and beyond for me numerous times, is always responsive and always follows-up with me; and (3) her bedside manner has always been comforting and gentle, yet honest. When I moved here, I kept hearing her name over and over when I asked friends for OB referrals. When I finally got an appointment, I was relieved to see that all of my friends were so right about her. I hope that I'll be lucky enough to have her deliver me....sidenote, the scheduling people and the ladies at the front desk aren't the friendliest. Thankfully, Dr. Lightfoote and her nursing staff are so awesome that it hasn't effected any of my experiences at Foxhall.

This was my first appointment with dr. Lightfoote but I have been coming to this practice for 40 years. I found dr. Lightfoote to be very professional and to have a very warm bedside manner. She explained everything before she conducted the exam. Her assistant was very pleasant and professional also. I highly recommend dr. Lightfoote.

She has no bedside manners...AT ALL!! I was around 6 months pregnant during my OB visit with her. I hopped off my chair and began to put on my clothes before she was finished talking- she was so negative. I stayed with the practice but haven't seen her since. And I was GRATEFUL she was not on call when I went into labor with both children.

Dr. Lightfoote promised she would be there for the delivery of my baby and she did not. Secondly, she gave me a IUD and she was so forceful that I fainted when my husband picked me up. She has a very demeaning personality and treats the office staff poorly. Terrible bed side manner.

Rude and condescending and uninterested. Also was not listening, so I had to repeat and retell my situation several times. Maybe she was having an off day? Either way, not a fan and won't see her again.

Puts patient at ease. Does not patronize, listens, asks questions, does not rush and overall makes it easy for one to speak freely. What a breath of fresh air! The consummate professional.
