Lynne Lyons, MD Medical Director and PsychiatristDr. Lyons is our medical director and a board-certified psychiatrist. She did her psychiatric training at the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor. Her 20 years at Rose Hill Center and another outpatient practice have given her extensive experience in the evaluation and pharmacologic treatment of a broad spectrum of psychiatric disorders.In addition to her personalized and carefully optimized medication recommendations, she offers state-of-the-art options like genetic testing to assist in selecting medications, as well as Neurostar TMS and SPRAVATO® for the treatment of mood disorders.Dr. Lyons believes that thoughtfully selected medication coupled with psychotherapy is the fastest and most effective way to provide relief and a return to function. Prevention of relapse and maintenance of wellness are also a focus. She partners with the patient, their support people, and the therapist in a team approach to recovery.

Dr Lyons has been my psychiatrist for 25 years. She has made me live my life to the fullest. With combination meds and therapy, Dr Lyons has me as stable as possible. I have Bipolar and have been able to raise my kids. Dr Lyons responds via email...which is great to know that you can reach your physician and she will contact you back. She is innovative. Dr Lyons was the first in Michigan to treat depression with Spravato. That really works for my depression and my anxiety. I am grateful to Dr. Lyons.

10 years ago I was diagnosed with ADD by Dr. Lyons. Not only was she wrong, because I was later diagnosed with Bipolar 1 rapid cycler, but she caused me years of painful cycling from being on the wrong meds. It is gross negligence that she still practices.

Dr. Lyons works with you and not for the drug companies. Is always up to date on new medications, and wants you to get better.

I LOVE Dr.Lyons, she helps me when I am at a crisis, even after hours. I would recommend her to all my family and friends without question.

Doctor Lynne Lyons is a remarkable psychiatrist. She spends time with me, making sure all concerns or issues I may have are addressed. She is very knowledgeable and informative about a wide range of things. My medications have always been thoroughly explained, including side effects, what the medication does, and what it will do for me as an individual.

Dr. Lyons is an excellent doctor, very down-to-earth and caring. I've been seeing her for around 6 years and she's always been there for me when I needed her. She answers emails and phone calls quickly. It's sometimes hard to get an appointment, but if it's an emergency she will squeeze you in.
