Dr. Lynne Robin Tilkin, DO

Dr Tilkin is by far the best Dr to be found anywhere bar none! If you wait a little longer to see her it’s because she is giving the person before you the same attention and care she will provide you which is nothing short of the medical excellence you and your overall health deserves. She is honest (even when you need a little kick in the backside), caring, knowledgeable, understanding, partners with other doctors ( to ensure your overall well-being), and most of all genuine. Dr Tilkin and her staff have helped my family and I through some very challenging times. If you want the most honest and knowledgeable healthcare provider possible you have found the right doctor. If you just want someone to tell you what you want to hear ( even when it’s not in your best interest) look elsewhere. Dr Tilkins integrity is way to valuable to be wasted that way ! My husband and I have been using Dr. Tilkin for over 20 years as our primary care physician. I'm having trouble figuring out where to start in singing her praises. Last year we were unhappy with a visit my husband had with his long-time cardiologist. So I called Dr. Tilkin to ask for a recommendation for another cardiologist. Instead she pointed us to a nephrologist (never heard of this type of doctor. It's a kidney dr and she recommended this doctor because blood pressure is managed by your kidneys. Again, something new to us.) After visiting with the nephrologist, it was discovered that my husband had liver cancer. This type of cancer shows no symptoms until it's too advanced to cure. So because Dr. Tilkin cared enough to point us to the right type of doctor, my husband has more years to live than he would have otherwise. Dr. Tilkin is very caring. I know when I see her, she will stay with me and answer all my questions. And she doesn't make me feel that she's in a hurry… and the next patient is more important than I am. Because of this, it's very likely that my appt might be delayed, but I would much rather wait a little longer for my appt and get all of my questions answered, than the alternative. Dr. Tilkin is straight forward and honest. Both my husband and I are very happy in her care. Without going into another detailed story, Dr. Tilkin went way beyond just today to coordinate with a surgeon for my husband to schedule a potential surgery for him. Because of Dr. Tilkin, my husband doesn't have to wait for the normal cycle of paperwork to flow thru multiple departments before he could be seen by this surgeon. And I want to sing the praises for Dr. Tilkin's staff. Her nurses, techs and admin staff are very professional and caring as well. I just can't say enough good things about Dr. Tilkin's care. She has saved my husband's life multiple times (and I'm not exaggerating). Thank you, thank you Dr. Tilkin for watching over my family and keeping us healthy!

I have been a patient with Dr. Tilkin for over 26 years. I started seeing her while i was pregnant, she delivered my son, was his pediatrician and our family doctor for 26 years. I live almost an hour away but it is worth the drive to go to someone I trust. She does not sugar coat anything - she will tell you honestly and sometimes the truth hurts. But i would rather her be honest than to put my health at risk by saying what i want to hear. The wait can sometimes be long, but once you are with her, she will not rush you. I don't trust anyone else.

It if you have anything wrong with this is not the Dr. for. You have a cold she may can help.. dry very rude..does not listen ..This is not a good Dr at all sorry people...

I stayed with this doctor too long. Very domineering and does not listen to you. Not open for suggestions. Not a very friendly office.

She is rude and very judgmental. Made me feel belittled and I will not be returning to her.

I really need to find a new doctor. I wait way too long. I feel like she does not listen

She's a pretty good doctor, but her staff isn't very friendly. I rated her average because I haven't been real pleased with her. I suppose most doctors nowadays are like her in that if you have a health issue, she just sends you to a specialist.

Dr Tilkin is wonderful! Thourough and never rushed. 5 stars from me!

She's not for everybody. But, if you appreciate candor, honesty, and no nonsense from your doc, she fits the bill. I find her refreshing.
