The staff is the worst I've ever had to deal with. Very rude and condescending.

The doctor is very good, the staff always seems to be confused.

After bad experiences with a few IM doctors, Dr. Jacobs is the first one who was through and took the time to actually listen to what I had to say. After having medical issues for several years and not being heard, Dr. Jacobs was able to do the proper testing to give me a correct diagnosis and help fix the problems. I am finally able to live without pain all the time.

My appointment was at 08:15 and I arrived right @ 08:00 for paperwork. There was just one person waiting in the waiting room and one lady being helped at the counter as she was on her way out. I stood at the counter for approximately three minutes total with three people behind the counter that were visible. I waited while the receptionist with dark, longer hair helped the lady at the counter. After the patient left, the receptionist continued writing in the file, not acknowledging me. She tore the paper out of the file she was writing in and stormed off out of sight. She appeared frustrated or very busy. I continued to wait, without being noticed, standing at the counter. The receptionist (dark hair) came back and sat down; not before saying something I couldnt hear to another lady behind the counter. This lady (shorter, lighter hair with a lot of rubber bracelets, gross) then looked at me and said, Last Name, I replied with my name. She said, New Patient, and I said I was. … I was instructed to fill out these forms and give the girl my drivers license and insurance cards. Completely thrown off that I still hadnt been granted a professional greeting, not even a hello, I took the papers to sit down and fill out. I had recently been hired and not gotten my insurance cards yet, but that I had the group numbers- The dark haired receptionist then proceeded to tell me that there was still another number she needed and couldnt help me. I left at that point; which was actually very hard for me to do because was in great need of professional advice, but I will not be treated poorly when going to the doctor, by staff or medical professional.I do not feel the need to be given the attitude I received from these women for no reason apparent to me; especially at a doctors office. I will find another doctors office which I can go to without dreading seeing people like that. They were unkind, less than helpful and made me even more uncomfortable that I already was; all this, on top of poor attitudes and lack of common courtesy. I would not recommend the Medical Care Group to any person I know based on this visit.

I would not recommend Dr. Lynette Jacobs to a friend. The staff was slow and did not even notice I was waiting over 45 minutes for a simple blood test. They never called with the results, I had to contact them. Then I finally got a hold of someone about my blood results they were rude, didn't give me any data, tried to rush me off the phone, and on top of it wouldn't send me my results. I had to go all the way back to the office to pick them up. The Dr. was completely not helpful. I told her why I was there and she told me she would send me to an allergist. When I just got done telling her I just went to an allergist and I am not allergic to anything. I had another blood test and said I could take it that day because I didn't fast and you aren't supposed to for this test. The Dr. responded with, oh you aren't supposed to fast with this test? Wow! Aren't you the doctor here? They also did not submit a claim to my insurance and tried to get me to pay a $385 bill. Horrible experience,… never again.

Excellent physician- her bedside manner was warm and caring. She put me at ease and was very patient with all my questions. Her knowledge regarding my condition was far superior to my other doctor. Definitely recommend!
