It's hard enough to find a decent psychiatrist, harder to find one that takes your insurance, and even harder to find one that is taking new patients. It is a seller's market for doctors these days but basic respect shouldn't have to be sacrificed. Appointment times were routinely pushed back. And even then, waits were 60 to 120 minutes past. Never an explanation or apology. Finally had enough and went to find another doctor for my daughter that understands boundaries and dignity of their patients.

Out of 15 dr's I tried to reaech to schedule an appointment, she was the only one to call me back personally withing 24 hours.(I guess the others don't need more patients) I got an appt 2 weeks after speaking to her. Dr. Hartt was very understanding and compassionate, took into consideration my medical history and involved me in making medication choices. She is very professional and understands what she is doing and will follow up with you.
