Dr. Kats had been treating both my parents for several years now. Being a physician myself, I can attest to a highest degree of her professionalism and knowledge. She is calm, thorough and genuinely caring. I can not ask for a better doctor for my parents!

Overall, very good psychiatrist. Will listen to your symptoms and try to give you the best medication possible with the appropriate dosage. She's also pretty busy. She has many offices around Brooklyn and works in New York City which can be a plus if you like someone with more practice and who commutes, but a minus if you're looking for someone to give you more personal time during your appointments. The upside is that she works in one of the better psych facilities in NY (Beth Israel) and if you may need her there, she is present a few days out of the week. Overall, if you're looking for a psychiatrist whose moderate to conservative about medication and pretty avaiable in many places, she's great.
