Dr. M Shannon Arnsberger, DO

I have been seeing the doctors at Exempla for some 30 years, first Dr. Richard and when he retired, Dr. Shannon Arnsberger. My experience has been that from a professional standpoint, Dr. Richard and Dr. Arnsberger are very competent. But what has convinced me to stay with one practice for so long is that they obviously care about their patients and want to make sure those patients stay in good health. I tend to ask a lot of questions and I've never gotten the feeling that I was being rushed or had asked too much. Dr. Arnsberger has an excellent bedside manner, is it empathetic and kind. Five stars!

Was in the office less than 5 min. I had to point out that I had a fever upon check in. After running a fever for 10 days, I called and requested a call back. Call was returned 48 hours later informing me I might just have a virus, when I had actually been seen by a different doctor earlier that day and the diagnosis was phenomena. Had she taken the time to listen to my symptoms and read the results she may have had a better chance of a correct diagnosis. Would not go back to her if she were the only doc within 30 miles.

Outstanding doctor in every way. She listens well and genuinely cares. She will give you options and get your input before taking a course of action.

She is one of the most caring doctors I have met. She not only took the time to listen but seemed to genuinely care about my problem. Most doctors have the "get you in - get you out" attitude. She did not - as a matter of fact the medical assistant had to knock on the door to let her know that her next patient was waiting! You will surely be pleased with Shannon!
