Dr. Maury David Jackson, MD

I've been seeing docs for 20 years for scoliosis. Jackson is a typical physiologist pill mill. He does not seem capable or willing to discuss overall care for life, such as comorbid conditions like depression and loss of mobility due to pain. My shortest appointment with him was 30 seconds. He walked in, didn't say hello, just asked how the meds were doing, gave me a new drug and then walked away. That interaction cost me $90 at the office. That was the last time I saw him. Like I said, typical pill mill doc so don't go expecting to have your medical issues discussed or addressed. Good luck with your pain and I hope you find a good doc.

Dr. Jackson is an excellent doctor and knows his stuff. He gave me a great diagnosis because of my hip pain which resulted to me needing a hip replaced and elevating my pain, he was really thorough. I would definitely recommend him to friends and family.

I took my 88 year old Mother to Dr Jackson. She's had a knee replacement and a hip replacement within the past year. Her doctor told her she had arthritis over her entire body which will cause her severe pain. He referred her to Dr Jackson for pain management. He took MRI and EEG for nerve damage, which she has. He gave her options of treatment, pain injection with pain medication or physical therapy. From the first visit he won me over. I'm a hard person to satisfy. But he was so patient with my mom and didn't rush her decision. Even with his own medical limitations, he's still very pleasant. Would I recommend him, a big yes. I'm making an appointment for myself.

Today I went to see the doctor for pain management I felt like I was at a psychiatrist office we talked everything but about my pain management my doctor that I have seen since 2003 retired and all I was there for was some pain meds to keep it under control so I can have a somewhat life this doctor did not listen to me he did not care then all to the end all of a sudden he did not accept my insurance after they knew what I have for insurance and they accepted it at the receptionist all of a sudden he does not accept it I would not recommend this doctor to anybody

This dr was the worst man I have ever went to for medical treatment. He has a very argumentative personality and horrible listener. I’m sorry I wasted my time. I’ve heard good things about this office that is why I choose to go there. Unfortunately, the office could be ok but I truly can not believe they let this man treat people this poorly I do not believe this was his first time. I will not be returning and this was a true disappointment of a so called doctor. He walked in the exam room with an attitude before we got started and the treatment got way worse from there. I would not want anybody to go through that examination the way it happened to me. Please really review him as a doctor. I wish I would have.

It took a month to get an appointment. Physician did not follow up and send report of EMG study - had to call multiple times to get the report sent. Physician did not have advice about dealing with the pain.

First let me say that I would give a grade of 0 if it was an option, but I had to choose at least one star for it to register. This was the worst treatment I've ever received at any dr's office. I went into his office in extreme pain from a car accident. The office staff is cold and rude and irritable and not friendly, except for one or two people. The doctor sent in an intern to take all my information and she spent about 20 mins with me and was very sympathetic, however, I was NOT INFORMED she was an intern until it was halfway through the visit and then only because I said something about her being a great listener and I was happy to get her for a doctor, that is when she informed me she was NOT the dr. Then the doctor came in after she was done and they didn't share much of anything with each other. He showed her and another intern how to check my reflexes, made a joke about my pain, then told me ok, how about a cortisone shot. He was very arrogant and when I called… him a day later for help, he said he would not see me for 2 weeks EVEN though I had made an appointment for that day. Period. I wound up having to go to the emergency room for help. Then when I finally went back to that office, he had not recorded his evaluations at all and the next doctor had to start from scratch and then SHE WAS MAD because she didn't have time to do that and said to me, "OK, I don't have time for a real eval, so tell me where it hurts most." THen she gave me a shot. WHAT??? Well I was in so much pain that I let them once again give me a shot, but I was so aggravated at that awful non_service. I don't trust an office that is so disorganized and not patient-oriented at all.

While his office staff may be a little curt (maybe they were just having a bad day), Dr. Jackson is fantastic. His rare ability to make me laugh despite undergoing an unpleasant prodcdure really sets him apart. Perhaps this is a natural gift, but it goes a long way toward setting a patient at ease. You'll love him!
