Dr. Figaro is just awesome! She's kind and compassionate. I always look forward to my appointments with her. She's a diabetes and thyroid expert and has vast knowledge of vitamin absorption, hormones therapy and more. I highly recommend her!!

She is an expert at treatment of thyroid conditions, diabetes, vitamin absoption, hormones and more. Her treatment plan is based on symptoms as well as bloodwork. She provides valuable coaching and offers advice on natural ways to alleviate symptoms and improve your overall health.

Dr. Figaro is the best endocrinologist I’ve ever worked with. Her schedule is very flexible for making appointments as a student, and she is always accessible over the phone. I appreciate that she takes me and my questions seriously. I’d recommend her to anyone in search of quality care.

Dr. Figaro was the first Endocrinologist Doctor I had ever seen in 30+ years as a diabetic. She taught me a whole new way of taking care of my diabetes. My sugars are under control now, I do not like going to the doctors, but Dr. Figaro made it so pleasant that I didn’t mind going to see her. She was always positive and caring. She changed my life. I cried when I got the letter that she was no longer with Genesis Health. I haven’t found a new Doctor yet. I really miss you Dr. Figaro. Dr. Figaro is by a large margin, the best diabetic doctor I have ever had; and I’ve known many having diabetes for more than 52 years. She is incredibly knowledgeable and understands all the latest technology regarding diabetes care. I highly recommend her.

There is only one word for Dr. Figaro: PHENOMENAL. She works though the medicals issues while taking the the one on one time with patients explaining what she is doing and checking. Best physician I ever seen.

Dr. Figaro is among the best physicians I’ve had the good fortune to see. Ever. Period. When I returned to this area to retire, I quite frankly did not expect her level of talent. However, under her expert care for the last ten months, I feel better, my A1Cs are two points lower than before, I eat better, my blood sugar is more even and I have begun to lose weight. Actually, the impact of putting me on a proper course of action showed results nearly immediately. As someone with a chronic illness, I was tired of managing it. I just wanted it to go away. I wanted her to give me a shot or a pill to cure me, or find a lab test to affirm I don’t really have it. Worst case, I wanted to believe that its simple -- just a weight thing. If I lose the weight, I won’t be a diabetic any more. Or, better yet, it was all her fault for not doing it my way – the wrong way. Rather, I have come to understand I will always be a diabetic, I just may not have to shoot insulin any more. … I will always be at higher risk. Until Dr. Figaro began to treat me and talk with me about this chronic condition, I did not want to understand or accept that I have a role in this relationship: I’m the owner of the issue for life. Dr. Figaro defines the course of action to keep me well and helps me to better help myself. When I let go and trust her, I get better. I feel better. She has been a patient and kind teacher. Most importantly, I am finally understanding some of the serious dynamics of this disease. Yes, I educated myself about the facts, but as much as I like to think I know, I am incompetent to apply my knowledge. That’s her job. I can feel better or feel worse depending on the choices I make. Dr. Figaro is my compass and my enabler. She helps me with those choices, she corrects my course of action. I can trust her to take care of me. I can trust her with my literal life. That’s what I’ve learned. I wish such a doctor for you. I am heartened in my role with her positive, cheerful personality. She has a wonderful sense of humor and is quick to drag me into a more upbeat perspective and put a smile on my face. That’s not always easy. But, she does not give up on me. She has called me at home to give a little extra encouragement. She invites me to call her with issues, and I talk with her – not her nurse. I’ve never experienced this level of unwavering care before. She is like having a sister or daughter on my side who just happens to be an endocrinologist. She is brilliant. She is exceptional. She is wonderful. I wish I could give you a few more adjectives and gush about her better, but it would be redundant. Thank you, Dr. Figaro, for your relentless intervention and for keeping me well.
