Dr. M Scott Peckler, MD

Dr. Heckler is one of the finest Dr. I've meet. Dr. Heckler save my life. The hospital call him in and he was there. I asked him did I take him away from something, Dr. Heckler said that OK. One thing for sure he mean business. I am forever grateful.

My experience with Dr Peckler was not good. Horrible at explaining & providing me with information about needs/options, pros/cons etc. pertaining to surgery. Post surgery, 4 days later on Monday i explained to him my symptoms and he just said "you're fine". On Thursday I went to my Primary care physician and told her the exact same thing I told Dr. Peckler and she said "Oh that's not normal". Long story short i had complications, she took additional tests & I needed additional medical attention.

I met Dr. Peckler while in Emergency Room at Lutheran General. I had to have my Gall Bladder removed as it was full of stones. He handled my situation extremely professionally. He may not be much of a bed side talker, but he has the skills to get the job done and done extremely well. My scars minimal and I had very little to no pain at all for some one who had an organ removed. That is amazing work. So good that when I found out a few months later I needed a biopsy to remove a lump under my arm I sought him out for his amazing skills to get the job done. His staff has been great and very helpful through all of my experiences. Very rare to find a top notch surgeon with a respectable personality. Extremely professional and talented. A hidden gem.

I was admitted to Lutheran General Hospital experiencing internal pain, had to have my appendix removed immediately. Dr. Peckler skillfully removed my appendix making the smallest incision possible. He followed up and gave helpful advice during recovery.
