She listens and takes enough time with me

I have been going to Dr Tallon since 2005. She is a great doctor and the staff is awesome. She has been there for myself and my children day or night. She has a cell phone that her patients have the number too so you can get ahold of he . Yes the wait times suck but at least she has bedside manners and cares about her patients enough to spend time with them. I had a miscarriage and she came to the hospital to hug me while I cried how many doctors take the time out to do that for you?? Everyone can write their negative opinions but also think about the good as well. How many doctors go to other countries to care for others with no insurance because they live in poverty?? How many doctors close their office every Wednesday to go to the church downtown to offer free medical care to people who don't have health insurance. That would be Dr. Tallon. So think about that when your negative. Done with my rant now. Thank you Dr. Tallon for always being their and caring about my family. Your a… GREAT doctor!!!! And thank you nurse Sarah and Cindy for being a great staff!!

Spends time with patients. Help them understand the diagnosis

Where do i even start? Expect to be here 3 hours. Dr tallon is nice but doesnt listen to your concerns. The waiting rooms are packed and in the summer there is no a/c. Sometimes they do not answer the phones for weeks. I often have to resort to a clinic or hospital when my daughter is ill because they cant get her in for weeks or a month. So what is the point in having a dr? I have witnessed several unsanitary practices. Save yourself the trouble!

We were infortunate enough to be assigned Dr. Tallon by Hoosier Healthwise. I have tried to make 3 appointments for sick children with Dr. Tallo; NEVER has a person answered the ophone, nor have my phone calls been returned in less than 2 days. In all 3 cases we siomply went to the emrgency room for mild illnesses. I count myself fortunate that nobody answered the phone, after reading the reviews on this site. You couldn't pay me to take my children to this unprofessional office.

Even with an appointment, I waited over an hour in a dirty, crowded, hot, cramped waiting room with my sick baby. Then i waited an almost 45 min before i realized the dr wasnt even in the building!! I I got the impression from her staff that she does this often and i let them know i will not be back. Big mistake, my family of 4 has great insurance who pays the dr's well. Nice lady but clueless and unprofessional.

The longest I've waited in this office is 3 hours. I typically expect to wait 45+ minutes, but I have been seen sooner a couple of times. Walk-ins have often gone before my appointments, pushing me and my family back. I realize Dr. Tallon makes emergency hospital visits, but as a medical assistant, I have to say the patient courtesy is lacking. The receptionist should at least advice those waiting that the doctor is currently out on call and either give an estimate of when she will return or offer to reschedule instead of letting patients sit and wait over 30 minutes (usually HOURS.)The office is dirty. The very tiny reception area's walls are littered with filthy hand prints and the carpets are often dirty. The toys are untouchable, particularly in the exam rooms. One time, I noticed a yellowish, dried splatter of body fluid on the exam table light as I was waiting for Dr. Tallon to enter the exam room. Very disgusting, which is why I see an outside OB/GYN for my annuals.All of this,… and I still keep her as my primary physician. She is a wonderful doctor, very down to earth, non-intimidating and takes time to listen to her patients, something I have not experienced with any other physician. It is a shame she has such a poor staff.

I do not recommend Dr. Talone to anyone. I haven't even been able to get someone on the phone so I can make an appointment. If I can't get ahold of my doctor, then what do I do? She doesn't prescribe birth control either.. as a doctor, that's a public need for women today. I believe that if you become a doctor, you shouldn't let your religion get in the way of things. Ridiculous.

This woman is supposed to be a female doctor, but she no longer prescribes birth control because it's against her religious beliefs. When I go to the doctor, I don't want someone else's religion crammed down my throat. Also, she doesn't believe in turning on the A/C during the summer, you wait for at least 2 hours to see her, she doesn't listen to you when you do see her, and the office is filthy. If you can go somewhere else, please do. I wouldn't recommend "Dr." Tallon to my worst enemy.
