Dr Raj saved my life, when I was experiencing nightmarish pain, as a result of CRPS, a crippling nerve injury. Dr Raj conducted a thorough diagnosis, during my first visit to his office. Thankfully, he did not rely in the incorrect diagnosis of my earlier doctor. If he had taken the easy route, I would not be alive today. Dr Raj conducted a careful examination and he correctly concluded that I was suffering from acute CRPS. During the course of my treatment, he skillfully performed several nerve blocker injections, which provided significant pain relief. Dr Raj also encouraged me to push through the discomfort and complete physical therapy in the pool, on a daily basis. I recently read an article about lackluster doctors who accept new patients. Many of these doctors rely in the initial diagnoses from earlier doctor. This earlier diagnosis gets “baked in” the patient’s chart. According to the article, it is “nearly impossible” to correct a mistaken diagnosis. Dr Raj did not… rely on the initial diagnosis. He conducted a thorough examination and he saved my life.

I suffer from chemo-induced neuropathy caused by a cancer drug I was prescribed 13 years ago called Cisplatin. It has left me with ten years of pain in my hands and feet. I have been to over a dozen pain medicine specialists, tried every medicine under the Sun, and even had an electrical nerve stimulator inserted into my spine. Nothing worked, and my pain grew worse as my tolerance to medicines increased. An internist had heard of Dr. Raj and the exemplary results he was achieving with his patients, and urged me to see him. It was the best advice I have received for my condition. Dr. Raj did a thorough work-up to find out exactly how bad my condition was and what nerves were involved. He completely understood my agony, and approached my case in an academic clinical way, not driven by any preconceived cookie-cutter solutions but rather by the data and his experience. He devised a combination therapy approach that has freed me of most of my pain. A true doctor's doctor and a great guy.

He is such a nice man and cares about your pain. His staff is also the best and will take care you and fit you in and work around your schedule. I will highly recommend them to anybody is serious pain. PS.... IF YOU ARE SEEKING NARCOTICS AND DO NOT ACTUALLY HAVE PAIN OR HAVE HAD SURGEY IN PAST DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH DR RAJ AND RUIN OTHER PEOPLES ABILITY THAT ACTUALLY NEED MEDS. HE ISNT THAT TYPE OF DOCTOR THAT WILL GIVE ANYBODY NARCOTICS SO DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR HIS TIME!!

Made an appointment and gave them my insurance info. It was verified and I was told that they accepted my insurance. I get to the appointment and after an hour in the office I am told they do not take my plan. Dr. Raj did nothing to help, except say too bad. Wasted 2 hours of my morning that I lost at least $180 income as I am self-employed.
