Unprofessional sounding and veeeery slow phone clerk. Took forever just to get set up with an appointment. The new practice ad brochure they mailed out was not what the practice appeared to be. Turned out was a very small office suite in a large bldg with very few staff and I think only one or two doctors. It took so long for them just to give me the initial paperwork (did I say SLOW?), I knew I would never make my next appt in time so I had no choice but to leave unseen. Altogether this practice wasted over an hour of my time with NO results.

I have seen her for about 6-8 appointments in the last year for everything from a breast lump (cancer) to urinary tract infections, anemia plus other things I can't think of right now. She has always been prompt for appointments and is very concerned about what is good for me. She discovers things about me that I'd rather not know, but they are things that I should know about and do something about for my own good. I have some difficulty understanding her, but she is patient with me and doesn't mind repeating herself. I highly recommend her.

Was in her office for 3 entire hours to get a referral out for radiology and a neurologist. She kept walking in and out in the middle of the appointment back and forth, repeated same questions over and over again, and then added signs and symptoms when I said I didn't have them. Was very rude and even said it sounded like I abuse medicine because I have 2 different doctors, one who manages pain meds for migraines in my home state, and one who manages tests and routine checkups where I live. On top of it when I went in to get the x-rays at my radiology appointment I was told the x-rays referals she ordered would not even touch the area that the abnormal lump of my concern (which is larger than a ping pong ball on my spine) could not even be seen because she ordered THE WRONG X-RAYS. I will NEVER be returning to this place again. Worst doctor I've EVER met. Do not assume things about your patients and do not be rude. Unacceptable.

She is an excellent Doctor. She listens, wants to reduce medicine and cares. Outstanding first visit. Staff is outstanding as well. Asset to Goose Creek.

Excellent care in all areas. Front office staff was extremely professional and helpful. Phlebotomist was excellent. Dr. Akennni was very through and went through my medical history. She made sure I understood what she was she was saying. My husband and I have 1 visit and we trust her completely and have changed to her from the doctor for 20 years. Doctor care that you can depend on and know you can trust

Very thorough. Soft mannered, intelligent, caring. Spends an unbelievable amount of time with patient.
