The front line of medicine work is about hoping, healing and supporting people. As a doctor, this must be a visible core value practiced with high fidelity and it is critical to lead from your heart and your head. On two different occasions, I have personally observed the absence of these standard and basic principals of being able to appropriately communicate with Dr. Damera's patients (my parents). Rude, arrogant and self-serving are the skills he openly demonstrates and unfortunately the ones he leaves behind. Someone misled this man when choosing a career and I am sad that this doctor does not possess the capacity to be able to renew, recreate or re-energize the passion for his life's work.

Tries to rush patients out of hospital. Is not helpful at all. He does not deserve one star.

I have to agree with the first review. Wanted to send my mother home ansdnot admit her. Said could not stay in hospital because in pain. After a while was found to have terrible infection now going to hospice after being in hospital for seven weeks. Very dangerous

Dr. Damera's professional opinion cannot be trusted because he wants to expedite the process. The patient's well being is not his priority. He advised sending my family member to hospice when that person wasn't dying. We stood firm. We sought the advice of specialists. The specialists did not agree with Dr. Damera's assessment. Dr. Damera has a good bedside manner which makes him dangerous. If he is your hospitalist, insist on someone else.
