Dr. Mae Sheikh-Ali, MD

Dr. Sheikh-Ali has taken care of me for many years. Not only does she monitor my thyroid's ups and downs, she spends time listening to my concerns regarding the rest of my body! She thoroughly explains the analysis of my bloodwork results. I love that she treats me as "a whole person". I am so very grateful for her expertise, and compassion.

I’m sure Dr Sheikh Ali is a good doctor, based on what I’ve read. This is why I scheduled an appointment with her. The nearest appointment available was more than a month away, but I was ok with that. I was sent a large pack of documents to fill out, which I painstakingly did. Just before my appointment, I got a call saying that my appointment needed to be rescheduled with a different doctor. WHAT!!? WHY!!!? Apparently she only wants to see established patients or ones that she has enough preliminary information on. I was told if I fax in some records they may be able to do more for me. Why was I made to wait over a month just to be told this and be put back at the end of the line with another doctor? Just unreal. So disappointed.

My experience was a memorable one. Her nurse was very nice and quite informative. They pulled me back for my appointment in a timely manner. What little of a wait I did have was well worth it. Dr. Mae was very helpful, knowledgeable and was open to all of my questions and answered every one of them with quickness and surety. She is open to every suggestion and if your way is not the way that is the best she will explain why and then tell why her way is most suitable. She will be my endocrinologist forever...…..

Dr. Mae is a wonderful. She answered all my questions. asked about all my other concerns. Definitely coming back to see her again

We are waiting on blood work so no diagnosis yet but she listens and ordered work ups that were of concern to me. Very courteous

I have seen Dr. Sheikh-Ali for myself and my mother for Osteoporosis. She is now at NE FL Endocrine & Diabetes Assoc., PA on3550 University Boulevard South - Suite 301. I thought she did a great job. She is very personable and patient to listen our concerns.

Dr. Sheikh-Ali is a great doctor she is actually a doctor that is rare. She sits down with you & talks with you wants to know your concerns and addresses them. She is real personable & has a great bed side manner. She really cares. I am upset though because she has left UF practice on Emerson and I can't seem to find her. The only downside was the appointment process but that was controlled by UF not her. It upsets me that no one can tell me anything about where she went. I hope she opens her own practice she is a great lady. If anyone has information about where she went please respond. Hope you are ok and doing well Dr. Sheikh-Ali.
