When UofC neurologists could not provide me any help at all, they referred me to this woman. She said she'd d/c my medications and put me on antidepressants for severe debilitating pain. I asked about a "pump" for the pain medication and she said that was ONLY for cancer patients. Since I didn't have cancer at the time, JUST the disabling pain, she wouldn't even consider helping me. I was devastated, as I had already been to 3 of the "best" Medical Centers in the area and this was my last hope. "Go to the top of the mountain, UoC", my PCP said. I say, DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY. THEY ARE ALL ABOUT THE MARKETING. They DO NOT take the time to evaluate you. Rush you through to try to discontinue your pain medication. What are the Medical & Big Pharma hiding from us, by stopping opioid medications, when they are needed, for people to function. It feels like a form of genocide. It certainly does NOT support the M.D.'s Hippocratic oath.
