Dr. Magdalena Joanna Scherer, MD

My mom saw her on rounds for 3 days in hospital after more involved hospitalists had set up a plan of next steps over the course of previous 8 days. This woman Dr. does not work with the consulting specialist. Does what she wants. Did not reach out and keep the family, POA informed. Ignored request by specialist overseeing to facilitate a second opinion consult at Boston hospital. I would not recommend anyone see her in NH hospital for anything she is not a specialist on which is general internal med. She's a generalist who ignores specialists.

Dr. Sherer listens. She believes I know my own body and since we have an established relationship of several years, she trusts me when I tell her my symptoms. She has helped me establish a protocol for an ongoing health issue and it is so wonderful to have a doctor that takes the time to listen and build a relationship with her patients. My husband is also a patient and how refreshing it is to know that when we are there individually she recognizes who we are and who our spouse is.
