Dr. Magdolna Dunai, MD

I’ve been seeing Dr. Dunai for many many years. She is not only the kindest doctor, but she’s the kind of doctor that you wish all doctors could be. Thorough, knowledgeable, listens, wants the best for you. My son started seeing her and when he decided to stop, I decided to start. I cannot tell you how many things she has helped me through. 23 years at the Firm I worked for that was highly stressful, and increased my anxiety for my need for perfection. I could not have made it through those days without her. Always has managed my medication, explaining the dosage, and we would check in later to make sure that it was the right decision. She was always spot on.She never lets me feel alone. I feel like I’m working with a very highly skilled doctor every time I’m in her presence. She has not only helped me, but she has helped other family members in times of crisis when I have reached out to her. I wish I had written this review years ago. I have told her many times that I wish we could be… friends, but you can’t be friends with your psychiatrist. Apparently it’s unethical. She would make a great friend.

She went above and beyond to create a custom treatment course that worked best for my lifestyle. She is brilliant and you absolutely get what you pay for.

Incredible Doctor

Horrible psychiatrist , blatantly lies, uses exaggerated body language to try to “connect” with you, takes only 1 session to diagnose and is obsessed with depaokte , horrible psychiatrist , just an old European lady who is frazzled and disorganized

Dr. Dunai perscribed too much necessary medications which damaged my husband’s health. I would not recommend her to any one.

Just wanted to share my excellent rating for Dr. Dunai. Unfortunately Health professionals do not get the reviews they deserve due to patient privacy concerns.

Dr Dunai is a psychiatrist who puts the patient first. I personally believe that you will never find a better doctor anywhere - regardless of type, field or specialization. It's not a "take two of these pills and tell me how you feel" approach. She spends time LISTENING to her patients, rather than constantly watching the clock and then abruptly ending the session only to spend the remaining few minutes making sure that all financial matters are current. Prior to finding Dr Dunai I found myself bouncing from one psychiatrist to another with little to no results. This in turn only intensified my illness. The doctor I had just prior to Dr Dunai did get closer than the others by going out on a limb stating that "I displayed the tendencies of bi polar disorder". Unfortunately, his diagnosis took 3 years; time enough to go through a divorce, sell the home and loose a job. I was blessed to find Dr Dunai and relieved that I no longer had to take on the role of a psychiatrist when being… treated by one.
