Warning! This Doctor does not diagnose early issues or obvious infections as a normal physician catches. Get ALL your labs done with full screenings. He told me he did & indeed did not. Get your tests elsewhere. His lab has left out samples & lost them. No one there is a nurse or doctor. Others listed as doctors & nurses do not work there. 1 man show. Don't ask questions. He belittles you. Something very wrong with functioning. Get autoimmune, cancer markers, all blood counts & factors. Do a stool sample for infections/parasites & urinalysis as well. He lets symptoms go & refers to his close network only. They then refer to only the few & it's win/win for them with you suffering the progressed illness. Then he gets you put in chronic care which again is in his tight network. I MEAN close. You end up very ill when not needed. BEWARE!!

I love dr wanis, except he often refers me to Dr's that don't take my insurance. He's always pleasant and sends my medications in promptly. He's a compassionate man. Tracey H

Dr. Magdy Wanis is the best Dr of Internal Medicine in Macomb County. So thorough and caring. He has a photographic memory and always has time to listen. The office staff are true gems that will always find a way to get you in to be seen by Dr. Wanis.

Only focused on your wallet

I believe that Dr. Wanis is a fine physician. However the receptionist, who represents Dr. Wanis, is rude/inconsiderate/and arrogant and lacks empathy. She will not advocate for the patient if it means she has to put forth an effort. She is disrespectful and does not know as much as she claims and thus she actually places the patients at risk. Please know that Jill, Dr. Wanis’s MA is fantastic and cares. Unfortunately Dr. Wanis will he losing our family as patients and our neighbors feel the same.

I saw Dr. Wanis for quite a few years. He's very friendly and listens. Once things start to get a bit more complicating, he can't handle it. I had struggled for years with certain symptoms that he completely overlooked. I understand that doctors are human, but my symptoms were major symptoms. Had he of listened more or referred me to a specialist when it become to much for him or out of his expertise, I may have struggled less and have felt better much much sooner. So, I will say, he's a good PCP for yearly physicals, strep throat, common cold, flu shots but when things start to become more serious - Go elsewhere. Be your own advocate. Additionally, he doesn't believe in my autoimmune disease, he truly doesn't believe it exists. Once I was diagnosed, he refused to test my mom for the same disease. I mean...HELLO?! That should be an automatic test. But no, he refused. Why? Because he doesn't believe in it. All in all, he's a good basic doctor. He's a good person. I just can't… help but feel biter for how I was medically treated and how my family was treated.
