Dr. Maged G Samaan, DO

Dr. Samaan REPEATEDLY reschedules, doesn’t call back when he is supposed to, changes appointments, makes appointments later, hours and hours later. We called back repeatedly for a week for an answer to a simple referral question, and we’re told, “he hasn’t been in yet,”” he’s not here yet,” “we talked to him but don’t know yet,” followed by “we didn’t talk to him yet.” Then, he reschedules REPEATEDLY. I take my mother to his office, and every time he reschedules, I have to change my work schedule. There is no consideration when they tell you last minute OVER AND OVER AGAIN that he has an emergency, a personal issue, has to go out of town, is sick. Then, they gas light you by telling you that, no, you were the one who rescheduled. For years I have been taking my mother here and for the past two he has been pulling these shenanigans. It is dysfunctional and inconsiderate. His secretaries enable whatever problems he has that cause him to behave like this. They cover, deny, blame, justify.… He is a good doctor but this behavior is maddening.

DR. SAMAAN IS LATE COMING INTO THE OFFICE. HE DOESN'T COME IN AT ALL SOME DAYS AND YOU GET YOUR APPOINTMENT CANCELLED. I LOVE HIM, HE DOESN'T VALUE OTHER PEOPLE'S TIME. LONG WAIT WAITING FOR HIM.

He was nice once I finally got to see him. I waited 2 hours to see him the first time. And today I had a appt for 9:30 I called to see if he was running late and he was the had me call back at 10 and I did and now they say it won't be until 11 if he can even get me in then! I'm going to change my md to someone els I don't have time to wait around for him.

Dr. Samaan cares about his patients. He spends time and answers all my concerns, explains all my lab results and makes sure to follow up on my progress. He is the best !
