He has served on the Memorial Health System Academic Advisory Council and as co-director of the Long Beach Memorial Critical Care Symposium. Dr. Tanios also is the recipient of multiple awards and grants, including recognition from the American Lung Association and funding from the National Institutes of Health.
When not caring for critically ill patients or teaching, Dr. Tanios enjoys living the Southern California lifestyle with his wife Hanan and their children Natalie and Michael.
