Dr. Maggie Corinne Belton, DO

Very rude nurse up front. Dr. did not seem all that interested in my health history or in the reasons behind some of my blood test results. I’ve made an appointment with a different doctor, as I didn’t get a good feeling about this practice.

The first time I ever saw DR Belton was for a pre op physical and she didnt like the looks of my ekg and sent me to a Cardiologist who thought there was nothing wrong with my EKG Second time I went for results of my blood work and to get refills for my medicines She didnt even look at my records or know even what all is wrong with me I have a stomach disease with makes me dry heave She wanted a drug screen which I had no problem with but when I came in I used the bathroom not knowing she wanted a urine test but I gave her what urine I could which she claims want enough So she had me drinking water which made me dry heave every where near the lab They put me in a room and I tried to drink more water and got sicker I asked to be given another form of drug test like mouth swab or blood work The lab tech went and asked her and she said NO If I couldn't give her urine she wouldn't fill my medicines I never refused a drug screen because I have no reason too Ive been on disability for chronic… pain and chronic insomnia since 2008 She never came in to check on me or make other arrangements for me so now I have to suffer till I can find another drto handel my medicine Her nurse is unprofessional and rude I had to put off my blood work to have pre op blood work and EKG for a colostomy and EDG Her nurse called me 3 times and I told her I wasnt suppose to be on the phone while having this done the first time she called and then she called two more times Its against Hipaa law and she didnt care Find yourself a real dr who reads your records to know what is wrong with you She doesnt seem to even care even when I told her about her nurse she didnt listen to me I wouldnt recommend her to see a animal let alone a person

Very patient and listens to me. She's a keeper.

The administrative staff are courteous and helpful. Dr. Belton's nurse is NOT. I can't tell if it's just the nurse who's too busy and therefore careless, rude, and inattentive, or the nurse and the doctor (who does not seem very busy), but in the end, Dr. Belton is not adequately prepared with accurate charts/records (which she clearly doesn't look at until she comes in the room) and the follow-up is NON-EXISTENT!
