Maggie M. Novy, D.M.D. was raised in Southwest Florida where she grew up in a close-knit family and could always be found playing sports.  She went on to the University of Florida where she participated in many community events for kids and was a basketball coach for the Girls Club. After earning her BS degree in Microbiology, she continued on at UF to pursue her dream of becoming a dentist and helping families. While in dental school, Dr. Maggie lead many community service groups aimed at helping children & participated in mission trips to the Dominican Republic where she provided dentistry in rural orphanages. Seeing children suffering from dental disease left a lasting impression and solidified Dr. Maggie’s destiny of becoming a pediatric dentist.
After graduating 4th in her dental class, she continued her journey as a Gator and completed a residency program specializing in pediatric dentistry, where she served as Chief Resident. During her additional two …year training she treated children with learning disabilities and complex medical conditions. Dr. Maggie is committed to lifelong learning, and after graduation she became a Diplomate in the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Maggie’s goal is to treat her patients as she would want her own family treated and believes every child should have positive dental experiences.
Dr. Maggie currently resides in Tampa with her fiancé Cliff, and two dogs Woja (boxer) & Axel (lab). She loves spending time with family and friends, usually outdoors and on the water. They love boating, fishing, running, biking, traveling & the Gator Nation.
