Dr. Mahalingam Satchi, MD

Dr Satchi has helped me through many miscarriages and finally the successful delivery of my daughter 21 years ago. It was a high risk pregnancy due to 9 previous miscarriages and my age. He did an unplanned c-section that saved both my life and my baby’s. As I understand it, he was the first in Danbury Hospital to use Bovi laser to perform the surgery and left me to heal very quickly and with barely a scar. He saw me through some of the toughest times of my life with knowledge, wisdom and compassion. He taught me to have faith in my body. He is amazing! I am forever grateful for meeting him!

Dr. Satchi is a wonderful man and I’m sorry to see that someone wrote a poor review - I didn’t even read it. I have been going to him for nearly 25 years and have two beautiful boys because of his compassion and concern - and medical excellence. I will admit that he can be quiet and some think he is cold - but he is a reserved man from a different culture. He has treated me for infertility - allowing me to have children after several miscarriages. He has also treated me for cervical conditions and conditions in menopause. I once called him through a trying time in my life and he was a compassionate healer once again. I will never go to anyone for gynecological issues except for Dr. Satchi because he has earned my trust and my respect.

Dr Satchi is not my regular gynecologist and I wouldn't recommend him to anyone. My regular Dr was not in when I needed something checked out so they booked me with Dr Satchi. He was extremely rude to me. Not only to me, but BEHIND MY BACK ALSO. I was waiting on the bench for him to come into the room for at least 3-5 minutes, I hear him approach the door, and he was talking poorly about me to the nurse RIGHT OUTSIDE THE DOOR. Was very rude when he came into the room, was very obvious he didn't want to be there, and made me feel like I was an idiot coming in to have something checked out. Don't know how this man is still employed.
