Absolutely the worst front office staff. Very rude and unprofessional. No one will let you speak to a dr or a supervisor when there is an issue!

I have been seen in this office for several years. They truly care about you as a person. I have been met with caring, professionalism, and compassion. My medication and personal needs are always met.

I have been a patient of Dr. Vakharia for over 15 years. In those 15 years he has been nothing but professional, caring, good listener, and very successful in getting his patients the proper medications to help with their problems. I visited several psychiatrists before I met Dr. Vakharia and was very unhappy with the results. When I finally got hooked up with Dr. Vakharia I knew I had found a caring, professional, highly intelligent doctor. He has been in practice over three decades. He has seen me through numerous crises, hospitalizations, medication changes and accommodations and he has always worked with me to get me the best care in a way that is successful and takes everything into consideration. I've always found the staff to be very professional. Mrs. Vakharia is the office manager and she is always there to accommodate me with changes in appointment times and contacting Dr. Vakharia when necessary. She does an excellent job keeping things moving and I very rarely wait more… than 5 or 10 minutes in his waiting room. I don't believe that the most successfully acclaimed psychiatric hospital, in the state, Ridgeview, would place Dr. Vakharia as head over all the hospital if he was anything but professional with excellent results. I have been able to live with my bi-polar disorder and actually be able to function like a normal person because of the many visits, hospitalizations, and medicine changes we've instituted over the years. He even worked with me on developing a list of medications that were generics of the brand names at prices I could afford. Please don't make a decision based on these posts but make an appointment and see for yourself. I guarantee you won't be disappointed.

This man is a ghost. After I was released from Ridgeview I have been unsuccessful in contacting him. No medical records have been summited for me and I have been out of hospital for a month. I need to return to work. My job may be on the line. I have contacted a lawyer for this matter. I do not recommend him for anyone. Something is fishy and I believe it has something to do with my insurance and money. Beware.....

I have been a patient over 2 years and I met Dr. Vakharia once. His nurse, Belinda, is fantastic. The office, however, is another story. The office staff does not return phone calls, even when the matter is urgent. I ran out of medication and the staff told me I was supposed to have come in last month, yet no appointment was scheduled. When I attempted to refill my medication, the office denied the request stating I had to come in. Not a problem, I asked when could I come and was told "next week". Unacceptable when you are dependent on medication. I asked them to call in enough for a week, until the appointment, and I was denied. Again, unacceptable. Would never recommend this practice.

I've been to many doctors before this, but ALL lack the attention to detail that Dr. Vakharia possesses. Dr. Vakharia's intake is pretty comprehensive and he actually uses the information that he has you fill out to really understand and help you. Other doctors breeze you through and don't really care who you are. Dr. V spoke to me about my job, health & personal life. The return visits are about 30 min each on insurance, but Dr. V utilizes the whole time. People don't seem to realize that if they are late or just don't show up, it affects the rest of us patients by throwing his schedule off...Dr. V does his best to ensure that if I'm running out of work during lunch, I can count on the appointment to go as planned and return without even using time! To locate someone of his caliber, is truly a blessing.

DR VAKAHARI SEEMS TO BE A VERY GOOD DR. HOWEVER GETTING IN TOUCH WITH HIM WHEN YOU NEED HIM IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE.... GETTING HIMN TO CALL U BACK IS IMPOSSIBLE. AT LEAST WITH MY EXPERIENCE WITH THE OFFICE..I NEVER GET TO SEE HIM ALWAYS SEE NURSE PRACTATIONER. SHE IS NICE BUT WOULD BE NICE TO SEE HIM ONCE IN A WHILE. OFFICE PERSONELL IS A # 1 OR 2.
