This man should not have his license. I almost had a seizure because of his ego being brused that I told my doctor he wasn't helping me. I was told I should report him to the board. He also lunged at me from his desk one time because I asked a question and I was told CPTSD isn't real. Certain medications MUST be on titration. Completely unethical. He even admitted he never had any interest in pysch vut in fact wanted to be a surgeon. It explains so much.

I was a patient of Dr. Kheras for over a decade. Dr. Khera conducts himself as a businessman first and a psychiatrist second. Over the span of my treatment he would frequently discuss his frustration with how long it took to receive insurance payouts. I initially thought he was simply just venting, but, over time it became abundantly clear to me that the insurance money was an unusually frequent topic of discussion. I naively looked past it because it didn't concern me and I was under the impression he cared more for my treatment than me as another payout. Towards the end, the writing was on the wall; the medications weren't working and he wasn't open to changes. The proverbial "straw that broke the camel's back" were two incidents that I still consider formally submitting with the Maryland Board of Physicians and I suspect would be upheld. This review doesn't even scratch the surface of over 10 years of being under his care but there's only so much I can write without revealing my… identity. Hope this helps. Be well.

Very good at diagnosing and finding the right medication however his caring is purely surface level. When/if a patient actually needs serious help don't expect much.
