Dr. Maher Bekheet Awad, MD

Dr. Awad is an outstanding physician. He treated me for approximately 3-4 months and I was taken care of with great compassion. He helped me through a really tough time in my life and I will be forever grateful. He is very strict with medication management that probably accounts for some of the bad reviews. He will treat you properly as long as you keep up your end of the contract.

Was cursed at, and intimidated. Avoid this doctor like the plague.

Sit for hours and says he takes insurance but when you get there they write a # on a piece of paper and every patient is different and ik 10 patients who go and he only takes cash and lies about insurance and charger some 150 some 200 or some up to 250! He doesn’t own a office he rents a quiet room for only 1-2 days a week for acouple hours a day sees all these patients take there $ and doesn’t even diagnose you just give you w.e ! I have about 10 or more people are are very unhappy with how he runs his “business”

I was a patient of Dr. Awad for several years until he moved away. He was by far the best Dr. I have seen.

Every time I went to see Dr Awad, I waited over 90 minutes. He had a great bedside manor and was very helpful but beyond that, he was the worst Doctor I've ever experienced. I was going through a crisis, called him, and still have not heard back. This is months and months later. I have called multiple times. Still nothing. To me, that is beyond irresponsible.

Best Psychological exam I've ever had! I take subutex and most of the docs out there only care about cash cash cash!!! Dr Awad doesn't need it and he truly loves us patients! He has literally made a SUNDAY appt for me due to a crisis!

Professional and personable, easy to talk to

I find him professional, precise, to the point and a good listener. I went to at least couple before i found him for my son.
