Dr. Mahesh Gandhi Allam, MD

Dr. Allam is the best Dr. I have ever had as a pulmonary Dr. And sleep apnea Dr. He is wonderful he listens to his patients and talks to them with concern. As a diabetes Dr. He is great please visit him soon and become one of his patients.

This Dr was very unpleasant, and unprofessional. I went to see him for stomach pain. He accused me of coming in to get narcotics, which I never even mentioned. I was trying to tell him about new symptoms I was having. He asked about my anxiety and and told me my problems were all due to anxiety. I told him I was having fevers as well. He said oh you have a fever now? I said no one took my temp so I don’t know. I told him my insurance charges a lot for copays for all the imaging I have had done lately. He spun around on his chair, and told me to buck up! I said what do you mean and he said “grow up”. He was talking loudly. He said I can find nothing wrong with you and there is nothing more he can do. Then he said”Understand?” I said yup, and got up to leave. I have also asked this office on three occasions, to write me a letter for my service dog. I even brought them a copy of one so they could follow it, to make it easier. I asked again today, and he wrote me one. When he came back to… give it to me, it was like a light switch flipped, and he was acting really nice, and asking me if I needed any prescriptions refilled? Said he would see me in four months. I just left. Needless to say, the experience did not help my anxiety issues. And lastly, I feel I have a UTI, and I have asked twice for them to do a urine test, and they won’t do it. One visit I asked twice. Nothing... If you have many issues that you are trying to get to the bottom of, I don’t recommend this Dr. I did send him a message, letting him know how I felt about my visit. His response was “Sometimes the truth hurts!” Unreal. What truth?

Excellent doctor. LISTENS to your ailments and spends time with you. Dr. Allam is compassionate about his patients, and extremely knowledgeable in his profession. Knows exactly what to prescribe to either ‘cure’ you or ‘comfort’. Highly recommend as a family physician.
