Dr. Mahmood Jahromi, MD

My son was a patient of Dr. Jahromi for eight years and I have been a patient for ten years or so. He is very intuitive and takes the time to assess our needs. I highly recommend him. If you are looking for a psychiatrist for an adolescent this is your guy!

He does not keep records. Asked me each time what Rx I want. Screwed up the Express Scripts process. Saw him 2 years. Do not recommend him.

Does not keep diagnostic records or notes. Does not track the RXs he is writing for me.

the one star is for the courteous office staff, however the man has limited private practice experience; retired from a corporate job and opened up a part time private practice; not knowledgeable of ADA accommodations and will ask you for additional money to review records; parental bedside manner, making statements like, " Don't cut any corners with me....tell it to me straight", and Don't talk about other people, we are here to talk about you and that is wasting time." Worst experience I have ever had with a health care professional. Proceed with caution...better yet hold out for a more experienced psychiatrist.

It was a pleasant experience. Dr. Jahromi was able to provide feedback to most of the matters at hand and seemed to know what he was talking about.

I have been seeing Dr Jharome for ten plus years now and things have been going well for me. I have had no issues with this office and have people the name and quality care that I have received in the last ten years. Thanks for helping me throughout this time. Thank you tom smoot.

I have been seeing dr. Jahromi for many years for medication management. He has greatly helped me manage my anxiety problem. I work in the field of mental health as well, and I've appreciated dr. Jahromi's respect toward me, and his knowledge of medications. He has taken the time to get to know me by asking me very relevant questions. I trust his judgment.

Dr Jahromi and his staff are great. They are accommodating with their schedule. I've seen dr Jahromi on and off for the past ten years and he has always helped me each time.

I would highly recommend Dr. Jahromi to others. He is the first of several doctors over the course of several years to correctly diagnose me and prescribe the correct medicine.The first appointment was over an hour long, during which he listened to and asked me questions about my medical history. He may not appear to be the warm and fuzzy type but I got the definite impression he cared about what I was going through and wanted to help me, which he has.It's very important to remember a psychiatrist is not the person to see to talk about your feelings; their main purpose is to treat you with the appropriate meds. In this regard, Dr. Jahromi is well-deserving of the highest recoomendation.
