Dr. Mahmood Moradi

I don't know how good of a sergeant he is but would have given him a zero rating as a doctor if that option was available. Dr. Moradi recommended unnecessary surgery. Two other opinions from two other neurosurgeons concluded that surgery was not required. The problem was solved by another method without surgery!!! Besides he allows his personnel to be rude and disrespectful to patients.

When it comes to my health, I don't look for fluff/white glove customer service. Tell it to me straight, give me a game plan, and let's fix it. This is exactly what you get with Dr. Moradi and his team. I admit I was taken aback by how direct the front office person was when trying to set up my initial visit, but I took comfort in the fact that everyone there knows what they're doing and are successful at treating symptoms/handling insurance issues. I couldn't walk without a walker/wheelchair. Dr. Moradi was able to diagnosis me quickly, set up my surgery within a week, and only 4 months later, I'm walking on my own again. I just did a 5K to celebrate the recovery! I know it's a long road to full recovery, but Dr. Moradi and his team are truly some of the best.

Dr Moradi is an excellent Neurosurgeon. He performed a complicated 6 hr multi-level lumbar fusion. I had severe leg pain and numbness and my quality of life was poor. After surgery and rehab, I have no pain or numbness. His office staff had to work hard for approval from a very difficult insurance co which was denying approvals. I have no hesitation recommending Dr Moradi to anyone needing neurological spinal surgery.

Dr. Moradi is an excellent neurological surgeon, who performed a cervical fusion surgery on my loved one, who is doing fantastic. His whole office staff is very kind, compassionate, and professional at all times. Some patients could take a lesson from them, no one likes demanding or rude behavior. Patients seeking pain medications, should go somewhere else. I had another friend, she had low back pain, and she was referred to physical therapy and a weight loss/ smoking cessation plan was discussed for her. I guess the weight, effects surgical results or something. We had to get surgical clearances from our physicians to proceed with the surgery. I liked Dr. Moradi, from the start very much, he is honest, straight-forward, answers all of your questions, and makes no crazy promises. It is a patient-physician relationship all the way, but you have to follow his guidance to achieve the goal of getting your life back. He has a new medical assistant and she is very kind and gentle, but at… all times professional.

After 6 months

I had back surgery about 3 years ago and without his excellent surgery skills, I really don't think I would be able to get out of bed.
