Dr. Mahmoodah Perveen, MD

Visited Dr. Perveen’s office recently. She wasn’t listening to my concerns. (I took it upon myself to see a specialist and thankfully that paid off tremendously.) After some blood work done with Dr. Perveen I was told they’d get back to me shortly as soon as the results came in. No one contacted me so I naturally assumed everything was fine. Almost 2 months I called to follow up about something when the receptionist then mentions I did in fact have something wrong with my blood work and I should’ve been contacted. Thanks for nothing.

The doctor was very nice, professional, she didn't rush me all in all was a nice visit. I've been back a few times and I like her and her office staff.

She is a very good doctor, she had great bed side manners. Office visits are usually quick to see her and she spends good time with you

Never go to this doctor! She told me to get a chest X-ray when she gets results she would let me know depending on whether I had bronchitis or pnemonia what other medicine I should take or continue another round of what I was taking. I called office to find out. She never called back so I went the next day to overlook ER (Easter) they told me my lungs were clear and not to take any of the medicines. It would take awhile but I should be okay. Called her office again to find out what the results of HER X-ray was and why she never called back. Was told she would all me. Never did. Ten days later someone from her office calls to ask how I am! I say how was my X-ray they say the hospital never sent her the results. I said why didn't you follow with the hospital to find out the results since I did call you again two days later and was told again the doctor would call you. She never did! When I actually insisted on talking to her and told her the whole story, her response was well you… are okay now so what is the problem! She said Her office tried to call me but I wasn't home funny they never left any messages until the tenth day when they called and still when I asked today how was my X-ray they came back to tell me they had received the report. Why didn't they follow up on my X-ray to find out where it was last Tuesday when I actually called for the results? This doctor is a joke and rude and arrogant to boot. Never apologized to me or said anything to me about me having to spend Easter in the ER! Just well you are better so what is the problem!

This doctor is a very low key doctor but if you ask her questions she will answer them with knowledge and experience. She is always available to listen to your complaints and find an answer to them. The most memorable think about Dr. Perveen is when I was in the hospital through another doctor, Dr. Perveen did not even know me but came in and asked me how I was feeling. I asked her for her card just because I didn't know her and sure enough my doctor retired so I called Dr. Perveen and she took me on as a new patient. She has been there with me through Crohn's Disease, Hypothyroid etc. She takes your blood in her office which is so convenient for me. I don't have to go to a lab. Results are done within a day or so. She always looks out for me especially if I want a med that she feels I don't need. She will even tell me it will make me gain weight because she knows I don't want that so I listen to her then. LOL She is a loving, caring doctor. Very calm and does not rush you… with your visits. I recommend this doctor to anyone who is tired of being rushed and not listened to. She is great. Been with her for over 10 years. Her staff is great. They will get me an appt. as soon as I need one. They have never turned me away and have always accommodated my needs.
