Dr. Mahmoud Mustafa, MD

I have been going to Dr. Dr. Mustafa for several years and he is by far the best of the best. He is personable, honest, takes the time to explain/answer questions and cares so very much about his patients. This is evident in his investment of time with a patient and really listening to their concerns. His expertise is remarkable and his network of referrals is vast. He takes his role as a care provider very seriously and his patients are his number one priority. I feel very fortunate that I am one of his patients and highly recommend him to others.

I like Dr. Mustafa, and he has been very nice to me. I am writing to complain about Connor Butz, his PA. Connor is a nasty unreliable piece of work. He cannot get prescriptions straight, and continually calls in the wrong amount or the wrong prescription. It is a shame that a nice man like Dr. Mustafa continually employee's a man like Connor, who is ruining his practice. I had to make the decision that after six emails regarding life and death medications to Connor, and none of them were what my original prescriptions stated, and since Dr. Mustafa has given this practice over to Connor, that I needed to seek another physician.

I've been a patient for years and he is hands down the most responsive, thoughtful and dedicated doctor I've ever known. There is nothing sterile or impersonal about the staff or the office (ask for the I Love Lucy room, you won't be disappointed). Moody was a concierge doctor before the term even existed. I'm biased but both of my adult children started going to him as soon as they turned 18 and they have pledged to be clients for life.

Smart diagnosis and really cool office!

I wanted really bad to like the care I received from Dr. Mustafa but after leaving his office over and over with nothing but a referral to another doctor, I quickly determined that it seems he doesn't do much. Dr. Mustafa is not pro-active at all with the proper care specific to a person's age. If you want a service- you must ask for it. As one approaches their older years one would like a doctor to be pro-active with health care that one may not be aware of (physicals, blood pressure, diabetes, skin conditions etc.). Dr. Mustafa never suggest anything (except Viagra). I often felt uncomfortable in Dr. Mustafa's office as it always felt like a disco. It's very clear that Moody Mustafa is a circuit party participant with all of the circuit party photos and diva icon signed photos all over the office. That mixed with the Disney room and the Viagra room is kind of creepy but I'm not there for the decor or the Pharmaceutical promotions or the Hollywood experience- I'm there for Health… Care. Health Care that I never felt I received. Upon nearly all visits I had a referral in my hand to go to another doctor- so ultimately I referred myself to another primary care doctor.

Although a doctor to celebrities and the world's most famous people, he hasn't lost the common touch. Brilliant, caring - the type of guy YOU WOULD WANT TO BE YOUR DOCTOR11!!!

I'm going for weight loss. The staff, dietitian, and Moody have been great so far. Wait time is minimal. He is knowledgable and experienced.
