Dr. Mahmoud A Nimer, MD

Takes on more than he can handle. Is taking over 1 month to read an Echo report from Access Test Center. After 2 calls to read report he still has not finished dictating and transcribing report. Has no regard for other patients needs for diagnostic tools for their health care. I? sure he billed for services and was already paid. Is negligent and a failure to do due diligence with his responsibility to produce report in a timely manner.

Dr. Nimmer was our cardiologist for about five years. Over that period he did two stress tests on my husband. He also did two and angioplasty on him. Each time he said that he absolutely could not do anymore bypasses. 15 years earlier my husband had five bypasses that has since closed. The last visit he told my husband that there’s nothing more they could do and that he would not do a bypass for $1 million on him and that he should go home and enjoys what quality of life he can. In other words go home to die. We found another cardiologist that picked up just by listening to his chest that he had an aorta valve problem. I am mediately checked him in to the Cleveland clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. We had a top heart surgeon that did three bypasses and replaced his aorta valve. I don’t know if Dr. Nimmer just couldn’t be bothered or he really doesn’t care about his patients because he’s nearing retirement age. Either way he was willing to let my husband die. I urge anyone… reading this to contact the Cleveland clinic. It is the number one heart hospital in the US and number two in the world. We had a wonderful surgeon and now three months later my husband is back to normal. Happy and healthy once again. Thank you Cleveland clinic and Dr. McCurry! PS Our Medicare and our supplement covered the whole expense. If a doctor tells you there’s nothing they can do, find a new doctor !!!

Went in for complaints of chest pain. Dr. Nimer took his time to go over test results with me even though I ended up with a clean bill of health. Entertained a lot of my questions. Would not hesitate to go back.

THIS DR. WAS RUDE, CONDESCENDING, AND DOWN RIGHT NASTY. HE RUSHED ME THROUGH MY VISIT, MADE THE REMARK "I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHY YOU ARE HERE" (I WAS THERE FOR A FOLLOW UP THAT HIS OFFICE MADE). HE SAID THAT MY PRIMARY DR'S OFFICE WERE A "BUNCH OF IDIOTS". I HAD A FEVER WITH CHILLS AND HIS REPLY TO ME WAS "i AM A CARDIOLOGIST, WHAT DO YOU EXPECT ME TO DO ABOUT THAT, YOU NEED TO BE ON ANTIBIOTICS." I WILL NOT BE RETURNING TO HIS OFFICE.

My appointment (as written on his business card) was scheduled for 2:15pm (though his staff argued it was for 2:45). I showed up at 2pm ...at 3pm I was taken into a nurses office to have my blood pressure and preliminary procedure done..... 4pm while waiting in the doctors room he still never showed up ....if you enjoy waiting for HOURS and wasting your time I guess he is the doctor to see.... I will never go back to him

Dr Nimer is everything anyone could ask for in a Cardiologist...and more.

This doctor should have his license revoked for the lack of quality care. Dr.Nimer make a statement to my sister that was extremely inappropriate " you don't know what you are talking about", but he failed to explain. Also, he sent me home from the hospital stating that he could not place another stent in my artery because they were not large enough, so of course I had another heart attack. Only to be brought by ambulance to another hospital he has a fellowship with, only for another doctor to say Dr.Nimer failed to do it right the first time, in which Dr.Nimer was on call (second hospitalization) and did in fact place three more stents in my arteries !!!!!!! I promise with everything I have that this doctor will indeed suffer come consequences for his complete lack of care and bedside manner.

I made the appointment to see Dr. Nimer and even though Dr.Nimer was seeing patients that day in his ofice, I had to see his PA. I had been having chest pain and was concerned. Normally the office gives you an EKG as a routine procedure. No EKG was taken on me even though my chief complaint was left chest pain and I asked why no EKG was performed on me. The answer made no sense. They did not think it was necessary. The EKG is normally done before you see the doctor so he can review it. The PA checked my vitals, asked some questions and then asked Dr. Nimer to come and review his notes on my office visit. Dr. Nimer brushed off the chest pain. I now need to find a new cardiologist.

My mother had a cath to check for possible blockage. He explained all to my mom and family. He was thorough and compassionate. Took his time, didnt make us feel hurried. I would definitely refer this doc to friends and family. Thank you.
