Dr. Mahnaz Khan was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. She left to attend the State University of New York (SUNY) at Binghamton and pursued dual degrees in Biochemistry and Philosophy. She was awarded Bachelor of Science degrees in both subjects in 1996. She enrolled in the SUNY at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine and was awarded her Doctor of Dental Surgery with a Minor in Pediatrics in 2000. Dr. Khan continued her education with advanced training in the specialty of pediatric dentistry at the Children's Hospital of Buffalo. She completed her specialty training in 2002 whereupon she joined Drs. Hirsch and Ehrenman in private practice.
Doctor Khan became a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry in September 2006. She maintains surgical and staff privileges at North Shore/LIJ at Syosset and Winthrop Hospital. Dr. Khan is an attending at Nassau University Medical Center, where she provides instruction in pediatric dentistry to dentists seeking advanced education …training.
