Mahshid Shirazi-Majd, MD

I have a friend who is a senior citizen and has received unprofessional treatment by Dr Shirazi. I am in the process of reporting her to the state board for her lack of empathy and inadequate care.

Added an incompetent, inexperienced, recent resident to the practice whose specialty is Family Medicine, not Internal Medicine ,whom I got stuck seeing. When I told Dr. Shirazi how I felt, she told me, "You have no right to criticize one of our doctors, to which I responded, "I have every right." She told me to find another doctor. Truthfully, I was never impressed with her as a physician. She refused to write a script for me for my anti-anxiety mediction when my psychiatrist retired. The whole practice and office has changed drastically.

had to wait for 2 months to get an appointment with this Doctor for a medical issue, and when I met with her I was told that since she had not seen me for 3 years she condidered me to be a new patient and she is not taking on any more new patients Run for the hills if you want a caring Doctor

I was having longstanding problems with my eyes, and saw several eye doctors. Dr. Shirazi saw me immediately as an emergency, sent me that day to a specialist, Dr. Clark. He immediately found my problem and put me on the right treatment. I am forever thankful to Dr. Shirazi for fixing my problem.

Dr. Shirazi is a very compassionate, empathic professional. She affords me all the time I need and will discuss any and all topics I bring to her. She has given me excellent advice concerning medical issues that I have followed through with and definitely takes a more holistic approach than just handing over a script to make things easy. I highly recommend her and the team she is affiliated with.
