Dr. Mahua Dey, MD

Dr. Dey was very intent on listening and getting to the issue of my pain. I had been in pain for three months undergoing conservative approaches. I was very impressed with her listening skills and she allowed you to talk without interrupting. She appears to be a very caring person.

I waited for two hours to see Dr. Dey. I was referred to her because I fell and have a skull fracture with no bleeding or cerebrial fluid as the CT scan report clearly said. When Dr. Dey finally entered the room she said "What can I do for you?" I said well I was referred to you because of a skull fracture that you hopefully have reviewed since you made me get a digital copy and bring it to you. She confirmed exactly what the CT scan report said and asked If I had any questions. I asked questions and her grand advice, reached in less than five minutes, was that I should avoid hitting my head again and that it will just heal on its own. She was unhelpful, did not increase my knowledge of my injury, and made me feel stupid for waiting two hours for nothing. Not looking forward to an expensive bill for 5 super pointless minutes with Dr. Dey.
