Maia Matyas, PA-C, is a board-certified Physician Assistant providing compassionate, patient-centered dermatologic care for patients of all ages. With a strong interest in both medical and aesthetic dermatology, she combines clinical expertise with an artistic eye to help patients improve skin health and feel more confident. Maia is committed to building lasting patient relationships through attentive listening, individualized treatment plans, and clear education about skin care and treatment options.

Dermatology Care and Skin Cancer Screening

Maia diagnoses and treats a wide range of common skin conditions, including acne, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, skin rashes, warts, and skin cancer. She also performs comprehensive skin cancer screenings and partners with patients to manage both acute and chronic dermatologic conditions using evidence-based, personalized care. Education and Professional Memberships

A Cleveland native, Maia earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Baldwin Wallace University before completing her Master of Physician Assistant Studies at Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tennessee. After graduation, she returned to Northeast Ohio and has practiced in both dermatology and family medicine. Maia is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Associates, the Ohio Academy of Physician Assistants, and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, reflecting her commitment to continuing education and high-quality dermatologic care.
