Exceptional patient care!! Really takes the time to dig deeper into what is happening with your health versus just suggesting textbook causes or the current "special of the day/week/etc"..... Would highly recommend to anyone frustrated with run of the mill patient care and doctors worrying more about how many patients they see in a day than actually spending time with their patients to determine exactly what is causing their problem.

Referred to Dr. Abuhajir. He first met with me on his day off..coming to his office and spending over two hours discussing my symptoms and reviewing my current treatment and health history. Ordered extensive lab works and arranged for treatment to start the very next day.Always spent as much time with my husband and me as needed to explain what was happening and why. I also started seeing him @Waukesha Memorial and followed to Columbia St. Mary's. When I needed to be referred to Drs. of other specialties he always found the best available in the area. I truly believe that I am alive today and as healthy because of his concern and care.

Dr. Abuhajir is an extraordinary physician. He always gives the time necessary to examine and discuss medical concerns and emotional issues affecting me, the patient. He is obviously an gifted diagnostician, because it took 40 years to get an accurate diagnosis and treatment for my blood disorder. There are times that I've had to wait an hour to see him, but I realize that he is giving another patient the time they need and deserve. When he comes to the examining room, the quality of his personality, his concern for me, and the medical knowledge that he pssesses makes the waiting inconsequential.

I started with this Doctor @ waukesa memorial hospital. since followed to columbia st. mary`s. so far no lymphoma.the waits to see him are on the long end, however you get all the time you need with him and then some. I truly like the fact that he gets to know you as an individual.down side this last time after the tests and three weeks of waiting, I had to call to find out the results...Flip side to this if there was something found, he would have contacted me.
