Exceptional knowledge, caring doctor, great outcome, fantastic human being

Dr. Maybody performed a procedure on a very close relative and would not even meet with us to discuss it before hand. I had to talk to him from a phone in the surgery prep waiting area. The procedure was not successful. A shameful representative of an otherwise well know and established Hospital.

Dr. maybody performed two RFAs on my father 3 years ago for colon cancer that had spread to the liver. He was very personable, compassionate, thorough and patient. He explained everything every step of the way in terms we could understand. When he left UK for Sloan-Kettering, he told my father that if he ever needed a second opinion, he would gladly give it with no charge. He did this and my Dad felt comfortable emailing him with updates (he always responded). When my father passed away last month (9 years after dx...Dr. Maybody helped lenghten his life), we felt close enough to him to let him know. He responded with sincere sympathy. If only every physician could be like him.
