Makenzi Gwinn, AuD

Makenzi Gwinn, Au.D, CCC-A, F-AAA is a Pocatello native. She joined Portneuf Medical Group in 2016 after receiving her Doctor of Audiology degree from Idaho State University. Dr. Gwinn received her Bachelor of Science degree from Idaho State University with a major in Communication Sciences and Disorders. She then completed her doctoral externship at Rady Children’s Hospital in San Diego, CA. She is fully certified and licensed in Idaho as a Clinical Audiologist, is certified by the American-Speech-Language-Hearing Association and is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology. As a Clinical Audiologist, Makenzi conducts comprehensive audiologic evaluations for adult and pediatric patients as well as vestibular assessments and electrophysiological testing including auditory brainstem response testing. Additionally, she conducts patient candidacy evaluations, mapping and follow up care for cochlear implant recipients and consultation, selection, fitting and programming for …implantable hearing devices and hearing aids.
