Dr. Mala Gaind, MD

Dr Gaind is a very good and caring doctor. She answers all our questions very patiently. She even called us late over the weekend to discuss our child’s care.

We absolutely love Dr Gaind. She is so compassionate and knowledgeable at the same time. We are so happy to have found a wonderful doctor for our kids and know they are in good care

When my infant was wheezing and struggling for air in that crazy autumn when H1N1 first struck, Dr. Gaind saved his life. She was the only doctor on staff, as the others were at the hospital, and the office was completely full of sick children. She stayed late and extended the hours, just to continue to help. One of the nurses interrupted Dr. Gaind's visit with another patient to ask her to check on my son, whose breathing was getting scary. She immediately came to my son's aid. She calmly directed us to a more appropriate room, instructed the nurses where and how to set up the equipment, and then with perfect poise, she placed her hands on my arms and looked me directly in the eye and told me he would be fine and that it was so important that I continue to stay as calm. After three breathing treatments, he was much better, and I will always be profoundly grateful for not just her help, but also for the professional and calming way in which she handled it. Forever indebted.

Dr. Gaind is a warm and compassionate doctor. She has all the qualities that make her an excellent Pediatrician.
