I feel compelled to express my concerns— There have been multiple issues that raise serious red flags. Initially, you diagnosed my sons headaches as migraines and ordered a CT scan. After the CT report was in, you did not respond to his follow-up messages or calls, which landed him in urgent care over the weekend to receive the meds you should have given him as it was a sinus infection, not migraines. More recently, he presented with chest pain and was told it was likely a pulled muscle and advised to use Icy Hot. Less than 24 hours later, he was in the ER diagnosed with pneumonia. I’ve worked in the medical field for over 25 years and have physicians in my family—I understand the demands and complexity of your role. However, I urge you to slow down, listen closely to your patient, and take their symptoms seriously. These oversights could have had far more severe consequences.
