Dr. Malati Kanani Harris, MD

Did answer questions appropriately using other patients cases unrelated to the obstetrics visit, used my small body frame to assume health and disregarded obvious pregnancy concerns, did not use gloves with fake nails to rip bags of water resulting in serious chorioamnionitis, did not call/check up after the baby due date passed. When baby was born, did not follow protocol to administer when baby born blue with cords around neck. Rude front office, billing mistakes.

Dr Harris was amazing really takes the time to get to know her patients I felt very comfortable talking about all issues with her. Being young and pregnant I was afraid I would feel some judgement from any doctor I saw but not at all with Dr Harris she was my on during pregnancy, delivered me and my daughters pediatrician. She answered all my little concerns in the wee hours of the night, just absolutely amazing. Unfortunately, we had to move out of state and wish we could've taken Dr. Harris and her nurse Kristi with us. They are extremely helpful and I found the front desk and lab techs to be very nice and considerate as well. Always addressing me by name and watching my bump grow with them was wonderful! Would recommend to anyone!

There is a certain receptionist that has serious issues with being professional. She can be downright rude and nasty. Everyone avoids her if possible. I wonder why she is still working there? This is poor office/personnel management.Also, patient education is lacking with this doctor. She can carry a friendly conversation but I have noticed she does not offer up any additional info. as our previous doctors have. There have been times she has worn her incredulous feelings on her sleeve-unprofessional. We got the "stink-eye" look from her as she walked out when she thought we were not looking. Oops! Shopping for new doc/office right now!

I have been seeing her for over 3 years and have had nothing but positive experiences with her.

Office staff is rude and careless. I have waited over 1 hr on several occasions, my appointments have been cancel without notice.If you call they put you on hold or disconect your call.Same with the after hrs service.Often I have to be seen by a different doctor witch at times may be somebody better or worse.
