Malay Rao, MD

Dr. Rao is Chief of Radiation Oncology. His clinical interests include cancers of the brain, breast, head and neck, lung, prostate, spine, gastrointestinal tract, and genitourinary system; lymphoma, myeloma, and sarcoma; and cancer pain management. Dr. Rao received his MD from Rutgers Health–Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and a PharmD from Rutgers Health–Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy. He did a radiation oncology residency, and was chief resident, at Rutgers Cancer Institute and RWJBarnabas Health–Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. He is a member of the American Society of Therapeutic and Radiation Oncology and the American Society of Clinical Oncology. In addition to English, Dr. Rao is fluent in Hindi and Gujarati. He joined Englewood Health Physician Network in 2025.
