Dr. Malcolm Rashad Hendricks, MD

Terrible staff, terrible service and a Dr who limits how many medical problems you can bring to him at one time. In the history of medicine this is unheard of. If I pay my co pays and happen to have multiple issues (as many humans do) I expect to have them all dealt with in the same visit within reason. Because of his "rule" I have had problems resulting from not testing the areas I told him about when having pains there. When I approached him about this issue and asked for an explanation he got angry and loudly said I was "calling him a liar" about what symtons I had asked for help with and that he would not "deal with my attitude". I should mention I work for a fortune 500 company and am nothing but professional with everyone in my life and would certainly never mistreat anyone or have an attitude, especially towards my Drs. I just want to get myself back to healthy and have been prevented from doing that by not having the correct testing done because of his rules and practices.… After this interaction he left the exam room and he chose to ignore me when I tried to tell him how sad and unprofessional it was that he would deal with a patient and their genuine complaint in this manner. He would not respond to me or make eye contacr and after he went and sat behind the nurses station and began angrily banging keyboard keys I felt walking away was the best resolution at that point. I could tell he obviously does not take any type of criticism (constructive or otherwise) well. I will also mention in the two and half years as my primary care physician he has never given me a typical physical examination even though I've requested it on multiple occasions. There are several nurses including one of the main nurses names Kelly that have engaged in talks of how much they enjoy marijuana, including how difficult it is to find good edibles in Decatur and how they are very pro marijuana etc. I was stunned staff members would be talking openly about something that illegal in AL let alone taking a personal stance on it. I assume he does not drug test his employees. I cannot recommend him or his practice and would look elsewhere online for others with experiences similar to mine. I have heard other nightmare stories throughout Decatur including some from folks who have had family members die in his care due to his lack of attention to their medical issues. I now refer to him as Dr Diapers because to me he acted like a big baby in a moment I was simply asking a question that was meant to help him and his staff try not to treat someone else the way I was treated moving forward. Totally poor angry manner. refuses to listen to your symptoms. I Had to go to another Dr who did diagnosed me with what I was trying to convey to this joker. yes Doc I'm 44 I know my body.

Very slow,does not listen to you at all.
