Dr. Malini Gupta, MD

Several relatives of mine have seen this doctor recently and she spends all of her time shaming patients who do not agree with her stance on the supposed "vaccine". She is the most disrespectful doctor that our family has EVER dealt with. There's no room to question anything with her because she "has a degree" and is smarter than the normal minions that come to her office. If a doctor can't treat patients better than she does, their license should be pulled. It's easy to see where her agenda comes from with just a couple of minutes of conversation.

Wait time 2 plus hours You go in for your labs 1 week before appt - 30 min wait You go in for your appt to receive results of labs - 2 hour wait You get 5 mins with Dr Gupta

Dr. Gupta always gets my refills in on time and never a second later. She is very efficient with her time with me. Her new staff are excellent; they always respond to my emails and calls. The front desk never leaves me on hold for more than 4 minutes and are very polite with their tone and words in person and on the phone. Whenever it’s time for my appointment the wait time is never over 10 minutes and she is extremely punctual. Her practice always follows CDC rules by always having their masks on and above their noses. Dr. Gupta spends time with and for me. During my visit, she often brings good topics to the table.

Three months and I still haven’t received a call. Meds are not filled and I’m still waiting. Nothing has been done. I’m done with this doctor.

I’ve called her office several times to get my meds filled and it’s been over 3 months and I still don’t have my meds. The office never calls you back they are very unprofessional. I’m done with that office.

I've been a patient of Dr. Gupta's for years and she's a wonderful physician, one of the best I've ever had. Her office staff is another matter entirely though... If and when you ever get anyone on the phone you can count on being put on the eternal hold, most likely you'll just get voice mail. I just called in and the receptionist left me on hold until the office was closed!! I've had an insurance change this year and they simply will not get on board with the change, not that they're out of network, it's just a hassle I suppose. Calls aren't returned, emails aren't returned, haven't tried faxing yet but I'm not even going to try that because although I really, really love Dr. Gupta I just can't tolerate a team of people that are sitting behind a desk just to collect a paycheck. What in the world has happened to customer service? It's definitely a lost and forgotten art these days. I know I'm only one patient and in the grand scheme of things, unimportant so I'll move forward… and try to find another doctor with a staff that at least half way cares.

There are only a few really "Good" Endocrinologists in Memphis, Dr. Gupta is one of the best! My primary Physician of 20+ years recommended her to me and I researched her. For a young clinician, she has taken the time to hone her skills. Being that she's so good, you may have to wait; for me since I only see her once a quarter - it's worth the wait. Since I've be a patient of Dr. Gupta's; my AIC numbers have greatly improved as well as my overall health.

She doesn’t ask me what is wrong with me she just goes by lab results and she gets off subject most of the time talking about her ex husband who has moved on from her which I dont Care about I just Wanted my questions answered and she couldn’t even do that

She might be good at what she does but she doesn’t care about her patients her staff sends her messages everyday to refill my prescription and it’s been over a month and i haven’t had my medication she would always leave during the middle of my visit just to talk on the phone one day she rushed me out of her office because she had to get her kids home she is very unprofessional

I have been calling for 3 days. Talked to 2 staff members and and also left messages concerning my son's medication. Each time letting them know he has been out of medication for a few days asking for urgent call back. Still waiting. Dr. Gupta is great, but her staff not so great.
