Dr. Mallika Kamana

I found Dr. Kamana when I was desperate for an infectious disease specialist, as I had a serious infection and I am allergic to all of the good oral antibiotics. She saw me right away and immediately got me set up with the infusion center next door. Dr. Kamana is very kind, and also very competent and conscientious. Her staff, and the staff at the infusion center took excellent care of me. They are some of the nicest people you could ever meet. I actually miss them now that I am healed.

I was treated for a blood infection by Dr. Kamana and her Staff which includes the Infusion Center located right next door to her office. I found that they were all very professional and knowledgeable about my condition and how to treat it. They were also all very friendly. I highly recommend Dr. Kamana and her Staff to anyone that is looking to get well.

dr. kamana was my primary physician for a severe strap infection which I spent 7 days in hospital. dr. kamana explained my treatment in terms that I could understand. She was always willing to take time to answer my questions in language I could understand. I am extremely grateful in the care and compassion she showed during this illness.

Dr. Kamana helped me get through an infection I got after breaking my leg. Was on an IV using cefazolin antibiotic every 8 hours for six weeks. The Doctor was very caring and gave me lots of confidence that I would be okay. Thank you doctor.

Deja was very sweet and concerned with me. She greets people with a sweet voice, a smile and is very helpful. Julie is a very pleasant nurse. Dr. Kamana, there is none better than her. She is very thorough and answers every question so I understand. I would not want to go with any other Infectious disease doctor. Very impressed.

Staff and doctor are excellent and informative - better than I've seen.

Saw Dr. Kamana when in desperately needed an Infectious Disease Doctor and she was the only one I could get into on a short notice, I imagine that is because she has few patients because of her problems.She seemed pleasant for the first few minutes of our initial visit but that all changed the second I questioned her recommended course of treatment. From that moment on she was rude and belittling to my family and I , she lied to me and my primary care doctor about treamtment given and needed. I was forced to stay in her care until I could find another doctor and the experience wasn't just emotionally taxing, it was dangerous and detrimental to my recovery from the infection I was fighting. Please don't submit yourself to her care, find someone else, anyone else. Please share your experiences online so we can hope to prevent others from going through this and maybe put a stop to this travesty.
