Dr. Maly Tiev

My husband was told to see a specialist about his liver.. Well we were sent to Maly Tiev..she is a Nurse Practioner.. not a Dr as it states above. SHE informed.. or scared the cr*p out of my husband. HE had stage 4 liver fibrosis.. which will lead to the liver not functioning and will need a liver transplant within the next few short years.. He asked what he could do., (he knew he was overweight. ) She basically said.. to go on Weight loss injections .to lose weight.. which would help. and a liver medication . He asked if he could do anything natural instead of meds. Her answer was just NO. When we tried to reach out to Maly for some more info.. she basically didnt get back to us. My husband is a very focused determined person.. he started dieting.. almost all by researching online.. not with her help at all. Well.. I got him a Real Hepatologist in Great Neck NY . After about 3 months of dieting.. he was done over 40lbs!! The new Dr. Took his blood work..called us back… withing 3 days.. MY husband's #'s were almost near normal.. his level of fibrosis went from stage 4 to about stage 1!!! He is now down 82 lbs!!! On his own.. 6.5 months later!!! When i finally got in touch with Maly Tiev She was just as my husband described Condescending..arrogant.. no bedside manners at all.. ..no apologies which I knew would never happen She is a chunky lady..that has the audacity to tell people to lose weight.. and doesn't give anyone the benefit of the doubt to do it on their own and never even suggested it!!..besides.. the new Dr. Told us.. that the liver medication only works 50%of the time!!! She only wanted to push meds and be done with it! Overall..this Woman is a nurse practioner.. that pushes meds....obnoxious, arrogant and rude. Does not care about her patients. WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS WOMAN TO ANYONE WITH a problem
