I have been bringing my daughter with severe eczema to Dr. Turegano over the last year, and she has been a God send. I was referred to her by my pediatrician specifically because she takes an integrative approach. Not only does she have my daughter on helpful prescriptions, but she has laid out an extremely detailed plan of other topical products, supplements, and lifestyle changes to address her eczema. My daughter's skin has greatly improved -- she sleeps better at night, she isn't distracted at school, she's just happier. And I couldn't be more grateful. I saw Dr. Turegano for a full body skin check given my family history of skin cancer. I was nervous initially but immediately felt very comfortable. She has excellent bedside manner. She did a very thorough exam. I'm very glad I found her.

Turegano Dr Turegano should not only work on her basic fundamental knowledge, but on her ethics, professionalism, and communication. After a hasty physical exam, she diagnosed lesion I had as with psoriasis and prescribed me a steroid cream. When this steroid cream made the lesions replicate, she increased the dosage without considering alternative diagnoses. This caused extreme itchiness, pain, and spreading of the “psoriasis.” Given her diagnosis, I invested in a UV light machine worth $500 and applied tar to my skin. When this same lesion appeared on someone else in my household, I determined this was actually a fungal infection, and obviously not autoimmune. It cost me $2 to buy antifungal over the counter cream to clear my infection. After hundred of dollars in office visit fees and these investments, she performed a KOH at a repeat office visit, confirming what I already knew. She is triple boarded but can’t recognize the glaringly obvious bread and butter cases that come… into her office. Not only this, she lacked any empathy and never apologized for the physical discomfort and the financial setback that her misdiagnosis caused.

Dr. Turegano is everything that you could hope for in a doctor and more. Recently my husband suffered from a chronic extremely uncomfortable skin condition. Dr. Turegano was the only dermatologist we visited that was interested and caring enough to try to find a solution to his problem. She went above and beyond in her efforts. Unfortunately, the condition was a symptom of a blood cancer terminal disease similar to leukemia. I am eternally grateful for the kindness and compassion Dr. Turegano and her most helpful staff showed my husband. He was treated with dignity and respect. They brought him some comfort in his last days, a blessing in a dismal time.

Dr. Turegano is kind, compassionate, SMART, efficient, and has amazing bedside manner. She's the whole package! I'm so glad I found her.
