Man Wai Ng, DDS, MPH

Dr. Man Wai Ng is Chief of the Department of Dentistry and the DentaQuest Endowed Chair in Pediatric Oral Health and Dentistry at Boston Children’s Hospital. She is also Associate Professor of Developmental Biology at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. She received her DDS from Stony Brook University and her MPH from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. She completed a general practice residency at Booth Memorial Medical Center, fellowship in dental care for special needs patients at Helen Hayes Hospital and pediatric dental residency at Boston Children’s Hospital/Harvard.
Dr. Ng has served on many national committees, including for the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Federal Drug Administration and the Commission on Dental Accreditation. In 2018-2019, she was President of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She was previously a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry Board of Trustees. She …is the author of many research articles, book chapters and reviews. Currently, her clinical and research interests include using caries disease management strategies, quality improvement methods and telehealth technologies to improve dental care access and oral health outcomes in children.
